The Journal of Health Informatics and Statistics (JHIS) is the official journal of the Korea Society of Health Informatics and Statistics (KOSHIS). The journal (pISSN 2645-8014, eISSN 2645-8022) provides a medium for the dissemination of original results and interpretative reviews inthe field of health informatics and statistics.

The scope of the journal covers the following areas:
• Use,standardization, and integrationof information systems, electronic medical record systems, clinical decision support systems, etc.in public health care and hospital management;
• Organizational, economic, social, clinical, ethical, and cost-benefit aspects of IT applications in health care;
• Use and development of health statistics, including biostatistics, statistical methods, and analyses inmedical research.

Beginning in 1975, the journal waspublished twiceayear in Korean and English.Since 2016, publications have increased to four times a year (February28, May31, August31, and November30).

All contents of the journal are freely available at www.e-jhis.org, www.koshis.or.kr, www.kci.go.kr, and www.papersearch.net. Digital files can be read, downloaded, and printed freely for not-for-profit and academic activities.

This journal is supported by a grant from theKorean Federation of Science and Technology Societies.
